1943 Original war time Martin 00-18, Adirondack Spruce top, scalloped braced, a beautiful piece of history from the Martin factory exactly this way in 1943,two fine hairlines, original tuners back on,the tone is crisp and full, and the action is excellent and perfect, finding any war time Martin in this good of condition is next to impossible, original guard, rare ready to play.

As part of the Martin 18 series, the 00-18 used Mahogany for its back and sides Like other orchestra or auditorium-sized Martins, the 00-18 is considered an excellent finger-style guitar. The 00-18 changed from 12 to 14 clear of the body in 1933 and 1934, which also brought an update to the body shape. Just like Martin Dreadnoughts, 00-18s from between 1934 and the beginning of World War II are the most sought-after by collectors.
